ALL ABOUT FULLY LIT.
Fully Lit Magazine launched in July 2020 and quickly received submissions from talented writers. We produce a new collection four times each year and we are open to submissions from everyone, all year round, whatever your previous experience or background. We believe in judging your work on its quality first and foremost. We select very the best short fiction, essays and poems, covering a broad range of themes and topics. We actively encourage submissions from new voices as well as established writers who are already published. We know it’s daunting for writers who are nervously dipping a toe into the unpredictable waters of the literary world for the first time. We don’t believe in pigeonholes. We believe the purpose of literature is to open the mind. This is why we give everyone equal consideration. We want to know what you have to say.
Don’t be shy. Be bold. Be brave. Trust in your ability to wow us. See our submissions guide below for information on how to send us your work.
HOW DO I SUBMIT?
We accept the following, per submission:
- One short story (up to 3000 words)
- One essay (up to 2000 words)
- Up to three pieces of flash fiction (up to 1000 words)
- Up to four poems (up to 40 lines each)
Please submit your work to us via email, either in MS Word format or in the body of the email. If your work is not accepted, please wait one month before resubmitting. Spelling and grammar checks are your responsibility. We accept simultaneous submissions. At present we are unable to pay for content, which is why we make no charge for submissions. You will be the first to know if this changes. Please include your pen name and contact details. We’d love to read a short bio. Names of pets and favourite bands are optional…
